Opioid Education and Prevention Coordinator - Part Time (Grant Funded)



JOB SUMMARY:

The part time Opioid Education and Prevention Coordinator (OEPC) will work collaboratively with the full time OEPC to provide awareness and education to Queen Anne’s County students and the community as a whole.  



QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  2. Valid Maryland Driver’s License
  3. Experience within a K-12 educational setting

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule and teach 8 Botvin Life Skills classes to all 3rd and 5th grade students in QACPS
  • Plan and coordinate multimedia campaign (print/radio ads, billboards, theater commercial, banners for Christmas float and social media) to support Queen Anne’s County Goes Purple
  • Assist the Full Time Opioid Education & Prevention Coordinator with planning all events/activities for QAC youth and adults.  Note - some activiites/events require time in the evenings and weekends.
  • Partner with the Queen Anne’s County Drug Free Coalition and community  businesses


SALARY:

25 hours/week for 48 weeks at $21.30/hour
